The Community Protection Project (CPP) is a $650 million, 200,000-acre project to protect communities in the Plumas National Forest that have not burned in the last 5-7 years. The forest service plans to use prescribed burns, forest thinning, and herbicides as part of the massive fuel reduction project. It’s designed to protect communities in Plumas and Butte Counties from future wildfires.

In six executive orders on his first day in office, President Donald Trump declared a national emergency at the southwest border and ordered his Cabinet officials to seal it and mobilize the armed forces to defend it.

Trump also designated the drug cartels operating at the border as terrorist organizations and ordered an overhaul of the federal refugee program.

And in an order to protect the states, Trump suspended the entry of aliens into the United States.

LA mayor Karen Bass knew one shocking image to keep under wraps during her “tour” of the fire-ravaged city.

She wasn’t about to address the scandalous scene of more than 100 emergency vehicles — a crippling number of fire trucks — lying idle in a massive parking lot in Los Angeles (located at North Avenue 19). Residents were later treated to the image on CNN as their communities were burning to the ground in the Southland.

Mayor Bass, obviously, knew the vehicles were in need of repair and maintenance, and for that reason could not be dispatched at the city’s most critical hour.
